I am Gareth Sharvin.

I took up the position as Councillor in February 2012. 



Currently I am Vice-Chair of the Recreation and Community Services Committee. I also sit on the Environment and Building & Estates Committees.



Outside of Council, I sit on the South Eastern Trust PPI Committee. I am also a representative for APSE.



Locally, I am involved in local football, gaelic and racing clubs. Recently I took up the position as Vice-Chair of the Killough Playgroup.



I have a high interest in Education, Sports, Housing and Business Development. 



My agenda for being a councillor is set by the local people in Down District.



My work history involves working for the Northern Ireland Civil Service, Queen's University Belfast and I currently work in the Aerospace Industry.
